1st Grade

First graders are starting the year learning about construction! What materials, tools, design techniques, communication, and math skills are needed to construct things? We'll begin by looking at natural materials and by exploring the uses of various materials.

2nd and 3rd Grades

Second and third grade ALPHA students will be working together this year. We are starting off with an author study of Patricia Polacco, and we will be working on refining our narrative writing skills.

4th and 5th Graders

Fourth grade will be learning about computation with whole numbers, rounding, and our place value system. Fifth grade will be learning about the Order of Operations, computation with whole numbers, the place value system, and exponents.

Chromebooks and CODE!

We started working with our new Chromebooks and learning how to write code or programming for computers! What do you think about them? What’s the best part about them?

Your Favorite Subject

What is the most favorite thing you like to learn about in school (not counting recess and lunch!) Why do you like it so much?
